Save Money by Finding Free Stuff
Everyone loves free stuff, really free stuff. Not the stuff you have to pay $4.95 shipping and handling on, the stuff that’s actually free. Believe it or not, you get just about anything free online. From baby diapers to product samples to free fonts for your computer, there are a lot of interesting things out there available for those who want to go after the opportunity.
Freebies can be found in just about any area of the world. While the Internet is international, certain websites are more predominant in certain areas than others. For example, some websites that are popular in the United Kingdom may not necessarily be popular in the United States. When searching for these freebies on the Web, this is something you want to keep in mind. You may find a great freebie deal that sends out a kit for new babies on one website, but you will have to make sure that it ships to wherever you live. Shipping overseas is not always an option.
Free items are not limited to products. There are sites out there that offer free grocery coupons that you can print out from home to help lower the cost of your grocery bills. Be forewarned that some of the coupon freebie sites require you to download a special program to print the coupons. If you are not comfortable doing this, look for a different coupon site.
Surprisingly enough, you can find sites that offer free dating services, advice, classes, financial help, and classified ads. Of course, as with anything else, caution should taken before giving out any personal information on line, especially if you are interested in the free dating sites. Also be wary of the free financial help. If you are looking for help with money matters, make sure the company that you contact is legitimate. You do not want to start sending cash to someone that’s simply going to pocket it. That would just make matters worse.
Sometimes you can even find free stuff from major publishers, like PC World, or news organizations such as CNN. Software, such as genealogy software, can be downloaded for free. There are websites available that cater to free and shareware programs that your can download for free. Double check what you download because they could a limited version. This is a great way of determining whether of not you want to spend the money on the full version. Don’t forget to enter contests or take surveys. Many of those will send you free items as well simply for signing up, but be careful you don’t wind up getting inundated with spam mail in your inbox.
Take your time and surf the Internet for free stuff. You never know what kind of deal you will find. You could win an MP3 player or maybe even acquire the perfect gift for a baby shower all for free. Use caution when giving out your e-mail and physical mailing address, and then enjoy the freebies you’ve found when they arrive.
