As humans in this crazy place we call Earth, it’s natural to experience negative emotions, we’re surrounded by negativity! We get bad news from the television, newspapers, friends, co-workers, it comes at us in a pretty consistent stream. However, you can make a conscious choice to decide to stop feeling bad, within seconds. Change your mood by acknowledging the feeling, recognizing it doesn’t serve your purpose to hold on to that feeling, and release it immediately.
Positive thinking can take practice, but if you use it consistently to consciously choose your mood or attitude, it will become easier and feel more natural. Self awareness is key to living a full life.
When have you ever made a positive life choice while overcome with emotion? I’d venture to say it hasn’t happened.
Practice self awareness when it comes to your feelings and how they are impacting your ability to manifest what you want in your life. I assure you that you never have to be held hostage by a negative emotion again.
Feelings Are a Conscious Choice
You know by now that negative emotions leave you in a lowered energy state. You can use the flip switch technique to change how you feel. Flipping the switch is simply the action you take to change from a negative, low energy state to a higher energy state. It’s about making a conscious choice to increase your vibrational energy in the exact moment you are feeling a negative thought or emotion. Keep in mind that any action you take to consciously feel even a little bit better, raises your vibration and cancels out the negative frequency.
There will be events in your life that will trigger negative feelings. You can’t control outcomes, only the way you feel about them. Ask yourself when you experience something negative, “Is there any benefit in making a conscious choice to feel badly about this situation? Will it improve anything?” Be self aware and you’ll know that the only thing you accomplish by feeling negative is attracting more negative feelings and situations into your life.
In these moments, make a conscious choice to choose a lighter or better feeling. Hold onto the higher frequency feeling for 15 seconds. Just 15 seconds of a better feeling will change your frequency! Remember that you have choice in every second. How you choose to feel is absolutely within in your control.
